Contest Information
Show off your talent! Fleamasters Music Hall is looking for S.W. Florida's best voices to engage in a singing competition in July and August, 2009. Contestants should be available to perform one song on at least three Sundays throughout the contest. Exact schedule of contestants by date will be confirmed via phone and email.
• This is a vocal competition – contestants will only be judged on singing talent.
• Contestants who do not show to perform at their confirmed scheduled performance time will be disqualified and replaced with a “stand by” alternate.
• A panel of judges will select the winner each week. Winners will proceed to Second Round and Final Round of competition. Contestants understand that the time, manner and method of judging shall be solely within the discretion of the competition officials and the decision of its judges will be final in all cases.
• Final Winner will be selected by audience and judges’ vote.
• Winner will receive a concert date to open at a Fleamall Show (date determined by type of music the winner sings), and $300 payment for their performance.
• Participants give their permission to Fleamasters to use their photographs or appearance in video taping in connection with advertising or news coverage of Fleamasters Singing Star competition.
